Beachin' It!

This past weekend we went on our annual beach trip with my sister and her family, Jason, Brandon, and Jack, and with my parents. Like every trip we had so much fun. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked, but here is just a little bit of our vacation.

Izzie is ready to go!

In the car and super excited :)

And...she's out!

Daddy and Izzie at the Texas State Aquarium, or as Brandon puts it, the water zoo.

Getting a little bit of learning in.

We let her walk around with her puppy backpack on. She so thought she was one of the big kids.

She was quite fascinated with the palm trees outside.

Having fun in the tunnel on the playground!

Finally time to get dirty! And boy did she. She had so much fun playing in the sand. And I was quite proud that none of the sand made it into her mouth!

Mommy and Izzie

Sweet boys, Jack and Brandon

Swimming with Daddy :)

And Izzie with her two favorite men, Daddy and Brandon!

We had so much fun with you family, and can't wait until next year!

Garden Pictures

I love taking pictures of Isabella in the garden. She loves to wander and pick the flowers, so it is hard to get a shot of her looking at the camera let alone smiling. But I got a couple of cute ones a while back and thought I would share.

Izzie's New Baby

As most of you know, Isabella got a baby from her Grammy and Papi for Christmas that she doesn't put down. Well, after not even 6 months, it was really beginning to show! I have washed her baby I don't know how many times and she just always looks nasty. So the next best thing was to get her a new one, the same one, but new nonetheless. Here is a picture of old baby and new baby together so you can get an idea of the nastiness. And yes, old baby had just been washed. Now you see, if you notice, new baby is a bit different than old baby. (Sorry, she doesn't have a name; it's just "baby") And I was hoping this wouldn't be a problem.

So, here is how I handled it. "Washed" the old baby in the sink, and then new baby emerged clean as a whistle. I had to do it fast though because she was cranky and it was nap time and I wanted her to go to bed with the clean baby and not the old baby. And clearly, she must have baby to go to sleep :)
