First Days of School!

Everyone was excited for school to start this week...especially Mommy!! So here we go with the pics!

Isabella started on Tuesday and will be going everyday this year. Hopefully this will help her get ready for Kinder next year...tear, tear.
Without the backpack...

and with.

Since they organize classes by birthday, once again Izzie and Jack are in the same class and are Wiggly Worms (you can imagine how well that went over).  Here they are outside school

What about me, Mom?!

Putting up their attendance worms.  Ms. Tammy is super cute and Isabella already loves her.

She didn't even turn around. I had to beg for a kiss goodbye!

The next day was Andrew's first day! Notice the same pose from Iz.

Now with the backpacks.

Here Bubby, let me help you.

One more, Mom!

Seriously, the thing is way to big for him!

Ethan and Mia started this year too.  They are Critters and Andrew is a Butterfly.
Stinkin' cuties!

And Uncle Phil tried to throw Mia in there, but the sweet girl wasn't having it!

When we separate from Ethan and Mia, Andrew was a little confused and got a little upset. Darn it! He had been doing so good! He cried a little in the classroom, but his sweet teacher, Ms. Jennifer, scooped him up and cuddled him right away.  I kissed him goodbye and told him I'd be back.

I watched outside the window for a few minutes to see if he would stop crying.  He was trying so hard to be big, but there was another little boy in there who was HYSTERICAL. Like HYSTERICAL. Poor baby. So every time the teacher would turn her back from Andrew, he would look over at his classmate and start crying. Not bad crying, just sad crying. But when I picked him up, Ms. Jennifer said he had a great day. He was so happy and said that school was fun and was anxious to show me his stamp.  He did great again today too. Just a little whine when the teacher got him out of the car. But he didn't turn around or anything. And as for Isabella; she's a pro at this whole school thing!

Baby Shower and Pregnancy Update

A few weeks ago, my wonderful friends threw me a baby shower.  Here are some pics from the gathering. I had planned out all the pictures I needed to take with people andddd in true Carla fashion, I forgot soo many :(

Mary Pat, Gwen, Patti, me, Lisa, Kim, Paige and Nancy
Love, love, love these girls! And since the shower Patti and Nancy have announced their pregnancies! So excited for all the babies!

Everyone was so generous and we received all of our "big" items from the registry and some really beautiful handmade/homemade gifts.

And then everyone contributed and helped make a scrap book for each of the girls. All I have to do is put in the pictures!

And here are some sono pics. I have soooo many, so I just included a few.

Here they are at almost 20 weeks.

Abigail

Madelyn - don't know why this pic is sideways. But how cute that they are both sucking their thumbs :)

And again at almost 24 weeks

Abigail

Madelyn

I'll be 29 weeks on Saturday and had 2 appointments today. One with my regular OB and another with the specialist for a NST (non stress test). At my appointment last week, Madelyn hadn't gained as much weight as expected (she's half a pound behind Abigail and both girls are measuring on the small side) and she wanted to run the test just to be safe.  The girls did great, but we will be having to do the NST every week from here on out.  Not what I really wanted to hear, but I'm so lucky to have such supportive family to help me out with the kids.  It's been a lot for all of us. We'll get another check on the girls weight next week so we are really hoping that Madelyn gets aggressive and fights for her fair share of placenta. Both girls are soooo active and the sonographers and doc are always commenting on how I really must get beat up from the inside. And I am! But I'm not complaining. I'm thinking I will have my hands full though! And I know I don't have a good belly pic :( I might have to instagram/phone blog one- I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of that in the future!
