Joe took the kids to the firehouse down the street this morning. It was a hit :)

They're Home!
Both girls have been home for almost 2 weeks now! It feels so good to be complete :)
Abigail came home first on November 4th. Everyone was so excited to have her here with us.
Isabella and Abigail
Such a proud big brother!
Mimi stopped for a visit
There was a lot of this the first few days. (Actually there's still a lot of that. Isabella is laying on the activity mat with them as I type this! She's so in love!)
Madelyn came home 2 days later on election day! My mom was here with Andrew and Abigail when I brought her in. Andrew kept counting the babies over and over. "One, two. One, two." And he would even point them out saying, "Bella's baby. And Drew Drew's baby." And when he wants to know who is who he asks, "What's that?"
We had to cage the babies in to keep wild animals out!
Grammy and Papi came bearing gifts. Spiderman car for Andrew.
And twin baby dolls for Izzie. She was soooo excited!
Sweet babies
If I put them head to toe, they tend to curl into each other.
We had a weight check at the pediatrician last Thursday and both girls are gaining great! Madelyn was up to 5.11 and Abigail was 6.8. Both had gained 11 oz in a week! The doctor thought it was funny how in sync they were with their weight, but Joe and I have noticed them being in sync a lot. They both usually have their heads turned the same way when they sleep and they do that little newborn cry (you know the one that sounds like a machine gun?!) and Joe says that they are talking to each other :) They are eating well and waking up 2 times a night to feed. Thanks to the NICU nurses for getting them on schedule and making it an easy transition for me.
More pictures to come soon!

Halloween
A little Halloween preparation...
Ewww...
"Daddy, you're weird!"
Delayed reaction
Gross!
Okay, Izzie. Pose with Daddy and Andrew! There ya go!
Before the party and parade at school
(She picked this La La Loopsy dress. I don't really get it, but oh well!)
Ask the girl to pose, and she'll pose darn it!
Sweet Sara waiting for the parade to start
Izzie
Jack (love how the kid next to him is giving the peace sign!)
Ethan and Mia
Got to Andrew's party and he was a little upset,
so, of course I seized the opportunity for a photo op.
Then I ran over to Izzie's party for a second
then the two of us headed back to Andrew's party.
He adores Ms. Jessica
And Halloween night...yes, different costumes :)
Tired of walking...
him too!
