Getting Adjusted

We have been so busy in the past month, I don't even know where to start. I am way behind on posting and so many blogworthy things have happened, but I just haven't had the time to do it :(
But we are now in our beautiful, but temporary, new home and getting back into a routine of some sort. We moved in last weekend, and it went very well- nothing got broken or scratched. This was the first time in the many, many times that we have moved that that has never happened. My parents came and helped us with the move, which was so helpful because not only was it a crazy day, but I also had probably the worst sinus infection that I have had in years. I could barely think straight, let alone deal with movers! Joe's parents had Isabella, which I'm sure was a pretty big job in itself. They had her all day and were such a big help. It was so nice to not have to worry about her while so much was going on. They wore her out so much that she even took a nap for them!

I was really worried about how Isabella would adjust, but she surprised me in the most wonderful way. I tend to not give her enough credit sometimes. I thought the nights would be rough for a while, but she went to bed that first night, and every night since, like this new room was always her room. She was a little weirded out by the new bathtub at first, especially since we finally ditched the toddler tub. The first few nights, she would only stand up in the tub, but she is finally getting used to the idea of sitting down now. Here is my silly girl with her crazy hair :)

Notice below how she is not quite sitting!

And although we miss our big back yard, the new one is just as beautiful. Isabella loves to walk through the gardens and down the path. She tries to help me pull weeds, and she always seems to pick the prettiest flowers (that she shouldn't!) and brings them to me. Here she is, sippy cup in hand, exploring the yard.
