Back in June, the whole family packed up and headed to Lubbock to cheer Daddy on in his 1/2 Iron Man competition that he had been training so hard for. We were all ready for it!
The day before the big race, we headed down to the race sight and had a picnic.
The morning of the race we made a sign for Daddy. Izzie was much more into the sign than Andrew...
Since we spent so much time in the hotel room, the rule was that the paci had to stay in bed, just like at home. Soooo he pretty much stayed on the bed the whole time!
It was a good thing we brought the wagon because there was a pretty big hill to get to the race sight.
We were so thankful that Mimi and Paw Paw made the trip! I literally could not have done it without them!

Congratulations to Joe!!! That's so impressive! It was fun to see all of the pictures from the weekend. That's a pretty cute group of cheerleaders for their Daddy :)
Oh my gosh, i still can't believe he did that! what a great role model he is for the kids, working so hard and then succedding! we are so proud of you joe! ( it was so cute to see izzie trying to make sure he drinks water, what a little mommy!)
way to go Joe!! and quite stylishly too- super cool beer shirts :) and way to go mommy for trekking the crew out there and cheering him on! wow! glad you had some help!!
