But, yes, he is still clingy and unfortunately for both of us, still a poor sleeper. He still gets up at least once and sometimes twice a night :( AND his sleeping is so poor that it rubs off on his naps. He is a cat napper, wanting to take 30-45 minute naps instead of anything significant. But, I just ask God for patience and tell myself that at some point, he will get better. (And please don't tell me otherwise!) But seriously, he's got the sweetest face to wake up to, so that's a plus :)
No crawling yet! But, he is getting on his hands and knees and rocking forward so that he falls on his chest and then doing it all over again so it ends up getting him where he wants to go. It's pretty amazing how far he can get himself! He can also sit for a few seconds on his own if I prop him just so. I'm really looking forward to the day when I can put him down to sit on his own.
He also had his six month checkup yesterday. I was really thinking that he was 15 lbs, maybe 15 1/2 so I was pretty bummed when he only weighed in at 14lbs 9 oz. That dropped him down to the 5% :( But his head is staying steady on its curve and the doc reminded me that that was the most important thing: the calories are going to his growing brain. (As a side note, he had just gotten over a nasty virus, and I really feel that that caused him to lose weight and drop down the chart. So hopefully he will be making up for his loss in the next couple of weeks.) His shots left him feeling crabby and even more clingy, if that's possible. Hopefully, he'll be feeling better tomorrow.
Andrew still loves to cuddle and still just adores Isabella. She can still make him laugh the hardest. When I cradle him, he just puts that soft little hand on my cheek and rubs it, or now he really likes to grab my nose. Andrew is super ticklish- it is super cute. He is very into playing with toys, and gets quite upset when his sister takes them from him. He has tried all cereals, fruits, and veggies, but no meats yet. And he is still wearing 6 month clothes. Andrew also has many nicknames including, but not limited to: Bubba (Izzie's favorite), Mr. Man, Tiny Man, Mr. Clingy, and Angel Face. He actually responds more to Bubba than to Andrew! Maybe we should work on that!
Sorry this post was so choppy. I literally typed the whole thing with Mr. Clingy in my lap. Typing with one hand makes for difficult blogging.

i know he's not a good sleeper but i still love that little muffin man so much....even if he has cried the last two times i held him..... i wouldn't be surprised if he's crawling in the next few weeks...just has to figure out how to move those arms and legs, he's very strong!
