I'm totally in denial that Andrew will be turning a year old in only a few weeks time :( The year has really flown by.

Andrew has become a professional stander, if you will, and he will be walking in no time. He just needs to get that confidence up! He can take up to 3 steps before he totally chickens out and goes down to his knees. It's just a matter of time before he realizes that he can do it all by himself :)

I can still get him to eat some baby food every once in a while, but he prefers to be eating whatever we are eating. He loves noodles, waffles, applesauce, grapes, and of course french fries to name a few. Loves the big kid
sippy cup and is always trying to steal Isabella's. In the past week, he has also decided that he doesn't much like to lay and drink a bottle any more :( I can get him still for long enough to drink 1 oz, maybe 2 at a time. He is just too busy and can't be bothered with it. I had to take him to the doctor a few times in the past few weeks for various reasons (high fever and worried about a possible ear infection) and at the first appointment he was 18 lbs and two weeks later at another appointment he was 18.8 lbs. So hopefully, he will keep that up. I'd love for him to be at least 19 lbs at his one year. Guess I just have a little boy.
Andrew not only says Dada and Mama, but he has also added "cat" into the mix! If I yell at Lulu to get off the counter (she's so bad), Andrew will yell "CAT"! Pretty cute :) He also does a lot of "
num num" when he likes what he is eating, and ''
ba ba ba'' as well. And he can also give a very delicate high five :)
It's about time for a hair cut; those hairs in the back are getting a little crazy, but Daddy isn't ready for it! He wants it to get a little crazy before cutting it. And I guess with the helmet on, it doesn't matter much! And speaking of the helmet, we are really starting to see improvement as far as the numbers go. He had to keep his helmet off for about 4 days, which killed me, but hopefully we will still see improvement when we go back in 2 weeks.
