Potty Princess

After our first attempt at potty training failed, I put it off for WAY too long. Isabella was telling me that she was a baby and that she wanted to wear diapers like Andrew. Great. Not a battle I wanted to fight. So, like I said, I put it off for forever, until Cassie introduced me to Potty Train Your Child In One Day. So we went for it with AMAZING results!

I didn't take pictures during the potty party day, so these are just a few afterwards.

Meet Molly: Isabella and I potty trained her together. You should have seen her eyes pop when she thought Molly actually went pee on the potty. Priceless:)

The princess potty. What little girl wouldn't want to use this potty?! And yes, the decorations are still up.

Princess Potty Chart. She earned all of these stickers the first day. And only 2 were for staying dry or trying. (I was pumping her full of lemonade from a really cool Belle cup.)

And I made her this special Princess shirt to wear with her panties during the party.


She took to the method so well and really in the past month since we did it, she has only had a handful of accidents. I'm so proud of her. I know now that she could have handled it months ago, but I was so afraid to mess it up twice. Maybe one of the benefits of waiting a while would be fewer accidents? Either way, I'm just glad I only have one "baby" now :) Now, just to get her to stop sucking that thumb...
