18 Weeks

Here is my first official belly picture of Baby #2. We took this picture at exactly 18 weeks. It is admittedly not the best picture, and I think that I actually look a bit bigger in the picture than in real life. Maybe it's the shadow behind me throwing me off. I am way done with morning sickness, thank goodness, and feeling really good. I am getting the occasional growing aches and pains, and by the end of the day I am pretty tired. But I am loving having some of my energy back :) I have been feeling the baby move for about a week and a half, maybe two- such a good, sweet feeling :) I think we may have another mover and shaker on our hands! I can actually feel baby as I write. On a good day, if I ask Isabella where Mommy's baby is, she pulls up my shirt and kisses my belly. She understands the words about a baby coming, but obviously not the concept.

She has been spending time with her new cousins Ethan (or if you ask Izzie, I-nan) and Mia, and she is sooooo good around them. She is very intrigued and wants to hug and hold them. I'm not gonna lie, we do have to watch her very closely seeing that she is very into pointing out the nose, eyes and mouth, and she needs some all around practice in being gentle, but her intentions are good, and that is what makes me think she is going to be such a good big sister! The next step is just waiting to find out if she will have a brother or a sister! We can't wait!
