Wurstfest

Every year Joe wants to go to Wurstfest in New Braunfels, and this year we actually made it. I know what you are thinking if you know me: sausage+beer=not for Carla, however sausage+beer= a VERY happy Joe Bass. So we went! It was pretty crowded and we were kind of surprised at how small the venue was.


Izzie was such a good girl. The first thing we saw inside the tent was a clown making balloon animals and hats. Balloons are a new favorite thing for Izzie, so we waited in line. She was sooo patient, waiting for about 5 kids to go before her- even Mr. Clown commented on her patience :) Well, we got her a wiener dog balloon, and I am not even kidding, 15 seconds after getting it, she popped it. It happened so fast that I didn't even get a picture! Needless to say, she was pretty sad :(

However, the funnel cake DID make her quite happy :) and Mommy too!

And it seems like Mommy never gets to be in any shots! So here is my attempt by myself :) We may not both be looking at the camera, but at least we are both in the frame!
