A Stay at Home Kind of Weekend

Well, the subject pretty much sums it up. We pretty much stayed home over the weekend, but we made it a good one nonetheless. On Saturday we did things around the house and had a pretty quiet day. Saturday night Joe and I both decided that we needed to do something, go somewhere. So we decided to go to an early dinner at Chili's. I have been working on getting Isabella to stay in her highchair during dinner and Saturday night was a triumph! From start to finish, she stayed in her floppy seat! I know this doesn't sound like much, but it was huge for us. I wished I'd had my camera there, but no luck. After we got home, we went for a swing in the backyard. Izzie loves to swing. When the wind blows really hard she blinks her eyes really fast and gets the sweetest smile on her face like she is soaking it all in. Joe was being silly and using her shorts, decided to make her into a French chef. Some might call it child abuse, but we just thought it was cute. Then Izzie and Lucky helped Joe water the lawn. Everyone wants to be Daddy's helper :)
