Andrew's Baptism

We had such and amazing day celebrating Andrew's baptism last Sunday. Andrew did sooo well. He was actually awake for the ceremony and just looked all around at everybody. He didn't even make a peep when he was blessed with the water. Isabella went up on the stage with us too, and just buried her head in Joe's shoulder the whole time.

Here we are at the church.

And afterwards we had our families come back to our house for a little play time and some lunch. Too bad I didn't get pictures of the food. But I did get a picture of the yummy cupcakes that I spent FOREVER decorating. Don't look too closely; they are far from perfect.

More lunch

And more lunch!

Mia and Ethan

Ethan living it up on the swing!

Mimi and Paw Paw

Aunt Theresa and Steve

Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jason (the boys were having too much fun!)

Nonna

Grandma

Mia, Uncle Phil, Luke and Aunt Jackie

Papi and Grammy (Andrew's giving the skink eye in that one!)

And just us :)

Afterwards, I took Andrew in the backyard for a little photo shoot. The lighting is pretty bad in some of these (should have changed directions!), but I just wanted to try and get a cute one in his little outfit.

I think he is crying in this one because he is anticipating how he is going to be made fun of in this hat. But it was too cute...I couldn't resist!

is it weird that andrew sometimes remindes me of your friend, cassie's, son, alex? they have similar expressions sometimes. we sure do love that little boy. so glad we got to be a part of his special day. :D

aw congrats mr andrew! you are too precious in that outfit!! even with the dorky hat ;) and OMG your brothers kids are HUGE! well, you know what I mean- so grown up!! all the cousins are soo cute! And Lisa, that is funny that you say that, because looking at these just reminds me of when alex was so little and precious. I will also say thank you because I think that is a compliment!
