Isabella's First Hair Cut

Yes, you read that correctly. Isabella just had her first hair cut EVER! My sister, Lisa, called to tell me that she was taking her boys for a hair cut if I wanted Izzie to come and watch. I've been wanting to cut her hair for a while now, but held off because I wasn't sure how she would take it. But I thought I'd take a "before" picture just in case. So here she is...

See how it kinda goes to a point at the bottom?

The whole time the boys were getting their hair done, Izzie kept asking me when it was her turn! It was a good thing that I had brought my camera just in case. She got to sit in a Lighting McQueen car and watch a movie. The lady that cut her hair was very patient and sweet to her :)

Just evening out the bottom a bit and keeping the length. Nothing too drastic!

What a big girl!

The lady even did a pretty little braid for her.

And since it was her first cut, I saved some of her cut hair in a little baggie for her baby book. I was so proud of how well she did, but I guess that is one of the perks of waiting until your child is 2 1/2 to cut her hair!
